Bike Shop -- Round 2

Work on the bike shop continues. I cleaned up the basement...moved all our boxes of crap into the corner and vacuumed up all the spider webs with my new Shop Vac (thanks Dad!). Then I put down all my carpet remnants over the concrete floor and installed some lighting.

I am currently finalizing plans for the workbench construction. The countertop in the picture will provide a nice, solid top for it.

The league president for the hockey league sent out a spreadsheet with the final regular season standings and player stats. Team Gray finished in 2nd place, only 1 point behind Team Blue. I ended up 6th overall in the league for total points scored out of 95 skaters. I was also the only player in the top 10 for scoring that didn't commit a single penalty. The regular season spreadsheet can be viewed here.

And the Lady Byng goes to BRIAN ABRAHAM YEAHHHHH!!! Congrats man that is awesome (the points and no penalties), Also I can barely go a period without committing a penalty. By the way I have Brad Richards autograph the Lady Byng winner 2 years ago!!

Looking good Brian :)

Way to go on the hockey stats. Looks like Team Gray will have a shot at knocking off Team Blue in the first round of the playoffs.

The playoffs are setup a little weird in the league. The 1st-3rd teams each play one game against the other 2 teams. The two teams with the best records after that play each other for the championship. So we could lose to Team Blue in the first round and then still end up playing them for the championship a few weeks later.

Wow, what progress! You seem so motivated in your new house... watch the fingers with your compound miter saw this weekend!

Good job in the hockey standings.

Are you guys going to finish the basement eventually?

We're not sure yet. If we did, it won't be for a long time.

We might put up the frame for the walls and electric outlets sometime, but no plans yet to completely finish it. We have the rest of the house to worry about first... :)
